The Minnesota Counties Insurance Trust offers members access
to a variety of training events each year. These sessions focus on issues that have historically resulted
in loss or present potential exposure to loss. MCIT is dedicated to helping members manage a myriad of
risks that expose them to loss and uses claims data to identify specific areas needing attention.
Emerging national risks and member input also help identify training topics.
MCIT uses several training models such as regional training, on-site sessions and interactive
video teleconferencing. MCIT staff, service providers, consultants and attorneys comprise the core of
our training team. Whether the session is an hour long or fills an entire day, members will receive
accurate, up to date information tailored to the world of public entities.
