Data Breaches: A Primer for County Attorneys

Data breaches are in the news almost daily and increasingly affect local government entities. Whether caused by phishing, malicious software (malware) or human error, data breaches can create a panic and headaches for any entity. “Data Breaches: A Primer for County Attorneys” focuses on identifying the risk of breaches, the necessary steps to take after a breach occurs specifically for county attorneys and the players involved after an incident.
Participants can choose to attend in person or online. See below for registration instructions. Online attendees may not be able to participate fully in seminar activities.

- Complete the online attendance registration form
- Each individual must be registered with a unique email address. The system will not accept multiple registrations using the same email address.
- You will be prompted to pay the $35 per person registration fee using a credit card as part of the registration process. You cannot request an invoice and pay later.

Fees may be submitted at any time. They need not accompany your registration form. An invoice will be issued for any fees not paid by the training session date. If you require a signed voucher to submit payment, please forward it to MCIT. We do not accept credit cards.
Cancellation Policy: Individuals registered for training sessions will not be billed for cancellations made at least one week prior to the session. Cancellations received after the deadline will be billed for the entire registration fee.
