DESCRIPTION:MCIT offers its members more than coverage to protect their operations. A robust selection of risk management and loss control services and programs are included in membership at no cost. The webinar “MCIT Is More Than Coverage” provides an overview of these services for soil and water conservation districts and how SWCD members can access them. \nThis webinar is a live event only June 23 at 11 a.m. \nWhat You Learn\n\nFoundations of a risk sharing pool like MCIT\nHow risk management and loss control consultants can assist members\nWhat areas MCIT’s staff counsel for risk control can address for members and what the SWCD’s legal counsel should do\nProgram services that support an SWCD’s risk management and loss control efforts that are included in membership\n\n \nTip: Double check the email address you enter on the registration form. If the address is entered incorrectly\, you will not receive the link to join the live event. \nWho Should Attend?\nThis webinar is geared toward soil and water conservation district leaders who are responsible for the SWCD’s daily operations. This likely is the district manager or other top-level staff member who negotiates contracts\, directs employer policies\, ensures compliance of workplace safety programs and manages other staff. \n \n \nThis webinar is co-sponsored with Minnesota Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts. \n\nTips for Registering for and Attending the Webinar\n\n\nDouble check the email address you enter on the registration form. If prompted while logging in to the webinar\, click “yes\,” “grant\,” “trust\,” etc. to accept the download. \nHow do I submit a question during the webinar? \nUse the Question feature in the GoToWebinar panel that appears on your screen after you join the session. Just type your question in the message field\, choose to send to presenters and organizers\, and then click send. \nMy colleagues want to attend the webinar. Can I forward the “join webinar” link that I received in my confirmation email to them? \nNo. Each attendee receives a unique URL (link) for the live webinar.
